Open Day at SPŠS Vsetín
Our company has been a long-term partner of SPŠS Vsetín (Secondary Technical School of Mechanical Engineering). By participating in the Open Day, we focus on both 9th grade elementary school students who are deciding on their future profession, and 4th grade SPŠS students who will be looking for their first job after graduation. Last year, the Open Day took place on 8 November. A total of 9 manufacturing companies from the region participated in the event. The school management organized the event excellently. The students accompanied groups of parents with their children around the school, where interesting demonstrations of the students' activities were prepared in individual classrooms. At the same time, teachers gradually visited the participating companies with 3rd and 4th grade students, who presented themselves to future school graduates. The main goal was to emphasize to current and future students the need for people with technical education and the possibilities of their application in practice. A great benefit was the participation of our employee Mr. Radek, a former school graduate, who personally shared his experience as a job setter with the students.
Mock job interview at SPŠS Vsetín
On Monday 9 December, HR professionals from several companies, including ours, sat down at the SPŠS Vsetín school desks with the students. The students experienced how to write a good CV, what to ask and what not to ask during a job interview, how to “sell” themselves on the job market. The future young engineers charmed us with their knowledge and pleasant demeanor. We look forward to meeting some of them one day in our company.

The activities mentioned above were complemented by a visit of representatives of local secondary schools SPŠS Vsetín and SOŠ J. Sousedík Vsetín, which took place on Friday, 15 November at location 4 in Bobrky. We thus followed up on the August tour that took place in Jablůnka. Thanks to a visit of our production facilities, teachers and school management can get a better idea of what workplaces they are preparing their students for, what technologies they will encounter one day, and what skills are key to the students' future employment. We were very pleased to hear words of praise for the cleanliness, order, and pleasant working environment. We look forward to further meetings and cooperation with the aim of connecting schools with real practice.
Visit of students from elementary school
Last Friday in November, grade students from the Vsetín Elementary School Vsetín Rokytnice visited the location 4. First, we gave them basic information about our company and the use of our products. In addition to this educational part, they took a look at the production workshop and the storage facilities in Bobrky. The reason for our cooperation with schools is to increase interest in technical and engineering fields. And it is necessary to start with elementary schools, where children decide on the choice of their further education.
