The basic premise of successful long-term operations is unending progress. This requirement is formally defined as a PDCA improvement cycle under the norms of Quality Management System. Our company is committed to complying with the legal regulations and specific requirements of management systems standards in pyrotechnics and the automotive industry called for by the integrated management system of quality, environmental protection, safety and information security. Following the regulations and continuous improvement in the PDCA cycle along with the KAIZEN principle are matter-of-course aspects of everyday activities. This causes the company to grow continuously. All company operations have been described in the Process Map with clearly defined interfaces between processes and their owners, activities, and key indicators. The KSE team is always ready to provide exceptional services to all interested parties.
The Safety Management System is grounded in specific legal requirements for safety in the manufacture of pyrotechnics. Our company emphasizes accident prevention and continuously checks for compliance to safety standards. Employees participate in regular training courses and are encouraged to embrace the system in order to increase safety levels (Hiyari Hatto). Our company is certified under the ISO 9001 Quality Management System, under the IATF 16949 Automotive Quality Management System, and under the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System and under the TISAX standards for information security in the automotive industry.
Competence
Production takes place in four locations in the heart of the Wallachia region. We have managed to link the traditional production with modern industrial trends. We use the power of fully automated assembly lines, including laser metal welding and robotisation in plastic injection moulding. Our inspection of processes and products is 100% automated.
We are involved in the development of new technological solutions while paying attention to keeping the burden on the environment to a minimum. Our main goal is high‑quality, 100% reliable and safe products. We have a sophisticated system of employee training, from the training of employees in pyrotechnical operations to DO-JO training and sharing experience within the Nippon Kayaku Group.
Environmental protection is important in our activities. We develop environmentally friendly products focusing, among other things, on the circular economy and reducing energy consumption. Our activities are ISO 14001 compliant and sustainable. We introduce technologies to reduce our carbon footprint, reduce water consumption and install renewable energy sources.

Kayaku Safety Systems Europe a.s. (KSE) is currently one of the most important employers in the Vsetin region.
