Our employees at a hockey tournament

On the weekend of January 11-12, 2025, a group of our employees, called KAYAKU BOYS, set off to fight for a medal at a pond hockey tournament in Košice, Slovakia. Although they did not win a valuable medal or participation in the World Championship in Canada, they have nothing to be ashamed of. As they say, they brought valuable and unforgettable experiences from the tournament, and found out at what level such matches are.

 “The game takes place on a smaller rink in a 4-on-4 format, without a goal keeper and with small goals. One match lasts 2x15 minutes. In the first match, our opponent quite surprised us and showed how different pond hockey strategies are. After quick sobering up, we were able to catch up with our opponent, but it was not enough to win. Before the next match, we adjusted our playing style and this time we won. The last match in the group was a challenge against the team that has many years of experience and ultimately won the whole tournament,” comments the team captain Tomáš Důbrava.
