Visit of Vsetin secondary school students

At least for a moment, our HR specialists went back to school when they stood in front of the future graduates of SOŠ J. Sousedíka Vsetín on Wednesday, 9 April, with their presentation of the company. They presented the job of adjusters in our manufacturing company, which is not just about assembling parts, but about the essential teamwork of all employees as they save lives of car passengers around the world.

They talked to the students about issues that they won't find in technical textbooks - what it's like to start their first job after school, what is expected of them as newcomers and what the company offers in return for their work: stability, the opportunity for growth, continuing education, and above-standard pay conditions.

Our mission was not just to “teach” with the presentation, but mainly to motivate; to show that working in the industry is meaningful and that today's youth has the potential to influence how the automotive industry will look in a few years. The meeting was also enriched by our employee, Jakub, who joined KSE after graduating from this very school last year and who works for us as a production adjuster. He described to his former classmates how the selection interview and the job itself looks and how satisfied he is in the company.

We are delighted with the growing interest of pupils in engineering, as demonstrated by the re-introduction of the Mechanical Adjuster course after a two-year hiatus. We are looking forward to more and more students in various technical fields in the future, which is also the goal of the Save Engineering in the Zlín Region initiative, in which our company also participates.

We thank the school for the invitation and the students for the pleasant atmosphere. I hope they enjoyed our little gift. We look forward to meeting them at our company, perhaps in their first job interviews.
