Firefighters get acquainted with company premises
On 25-27. 8. 2026, members of individual shifts of Vsetín professional firefighters visited production and administrative buildings in Vsetín-Bobrky. The main purpose of the inspections is to familiarize the members of the Fire Department with the specifics and complexities of individual buildings and areas, the location of fire safety equipment and other important means for the possible implementation of a quick and successful fire-fighting intervention.
These inspections are also an important part of updating the Fire Fighting Documentation. It is carried out regularly once every 3 years, as one of the conditions of the contractual agreement between Kayaku and the Fire Department of the Zlín Region on connecting the buildings to the Centralized Protection Desk.
In July, firefighters also appeared in our production plant in Jablůnka. The IZS units conducted a tactical exercise here, the aim of which was to verify the coordination of activities when dealing with an emergency in an industrial facility with increased risk.
The emphasis is on:
- organization of intervention in special conditions,
- cooperation between the HZS units and the facility operator (KSE),
verification of the functionality of the notification system, intervention management and population protection.
This special training was attended by both professional firefighters from the HZS Vsetín station and members of the Volunteer Firefighters Unit of the municipality of Jablůnka.
