The second part of the project Physiotherapy in the workplace has finished

Before the end of the year 2025, we managed to implement the 2nd part of the project "Physiotherapy in the Workplace" in Jablůnka. We followed up on the successful spring group. This time, 31 production employees attended the exercise, the vast majority of whom were workers from the continuous regime. Overall, we focused on three topics in the program: strength, flexibility and stability. The project was again provided by experienced physiotherapists, Mgr. Ondřej Kolařík and Mgr. Klára Šoltés Mertová.

The nature of the exercise was the same as in previous stage, only the timing was more complicated due to the shifts. In the end, we managed to combine everything so that each registered participant completed an entrance examination, 8 lessons of exercise at the workplace, practiced at home according to the video instructions sent and finally received an assessment of their efforts during the final examination.

On Monday, 15. 12. 2025, we then met with Mgr. Ondřej Kolařík together to present the results to us:

  • The project was completed by 30 out of 31 employees
  • There was an improvement in health status in 86%
  • Reduced pain in 83%
  • The project met expectations in 100%
  • Would continue 100%
  • Would recommend the project 100%

The measurable data for the entire group is interesting. Our brave participants:

  • They lost a total of 22.5 kg
  • Together they stretched 2.86 m!

The opinions and observations of the involved employees were also presented for evaluation:

  • I liked that you explained everything, and I liked the breathing the most.
  • I feel much better, there is something to it, it is nice that we have videos.
  • My back does not hurt at all, and I have not been exercising honestly. Thank you for showing me a new way to take care of myself.
  • I found it universal and for everyone.
  • My back hurts less, even at work.
  • I learned a lot of new exercises, so I'm satisfied.
  • I'm very happy that it could also be done for shift work.
  • I expected it to relieve my back, but it also helps against fatigue, especially on night shifts.

And how did Mr. Kolařík evaluate the whole group?

"The program was completed at 81%, which is the best result in the time I have been doing this project, almost 8 years. Everyone deserves great praise not only for their courage in signing up, but also for the diligence they put into the exercises, as well as into taking care of themselves and their health. I am very happy that together we managed to start and complete such a large project. At the same time, we managed to increase capacity through precise planning, also thanks to the great interest from employees. Thank you very much for the pleasant atmosphere with which you opened the doors to our team."

Our HR department is also very satisfied with the project. "On behalf of the HR department, I would like to thank everyone who signed up for the project. Their interest showed that they are not indifferent to their health, and despite their initial concerns, the exercise excited them and brought them measurable positive results. I would also like to thank the employees for their flexibility - sometimes, due to shift work, some groups had to exercise outside of their working hours, but everyone was very accommodating and willing, and the arrangement with them was great.", commented HR specialist Irena Šťastná.

"We have repeatedly seen that Mgr. Ondřej Kolařík and his colleagues are professionals in their fields - they thrilled everyone involved with their unique, unobtrusive approach, and I dare say that this corporate benefit was appreciated with great satisfaction. In conclusion, I would like to add that the project does not end with this summary - the spring group had a follow-up examination in December, where it was assessed whether the exercise had a long-term effect. The employees were also reminded again how good it is to introduce these habits into their daily routine, because the results achieved were again slightly better. The same follow-up examination awaits the autumn group, so that the project has the right effectiveness," adds Ms. Šťastná.

What will be next?

Since employees from Jasenice and Jablůnka have had the opportunity to participate in this project in recent years, we plan to continue the project with two new groups in location 4 in Bobrky for fiscal year 2026 (in spring and autumn), if our financial situation allows it.
